Artisan Class Schedule

1. Knife Sharpening and Chopping Skills Class

  • Date: Saturday, November 30th

  • Time: 11 AM - 4 PM

  • Price: 3000 THB per person (lunch and wine included)

  • Details: In this hands-on class, you’ll learn essential knife sharpening techniques and precision chopping skills that every cook should know. Starting with traditional methods of sharpening using a whetstone, you’ll learn how to maintain and hone your knife’s edge for smooth, effortless cuts. Bring your own knife or use one provided by Ikigai—either way, you’ll gain valuable skills to elevate your kitchen game. After practicing your chopping techniques, relax and enjoy a delicious lunch with your fellow participants. Limited to only 10 participants, this class provides a focused, interactive experience for all skill levels.

2. Kintsugi Workshop: The Art of Golden Repair

  • Dates: Saturdays, December 7th, 14th, and 21st

  • Time: 11 AM - 4 PM

  • Price: 4000 THB for all three classes (lunch and wine included each day)

  • Details: Embrace the Japanese philosophy of finding beauty in imperfection through Kintsugi, the art of repairing broken pottery with lacquer and gold.
